Overview
Clean design, easy to use, and just the amount of features that you need. The prototyping tool you’ve been looking for.
Component Palette
A large palette of components for you to quickly get started and up to speed. We’ve got all commonly used components for web and mobile application.
If something is missing, you can easily build your own out of existing components and basic shapes. FlairBuilder has basic drawing tools for rectangles, lines, polygons, ellipses, and more. All shapes support interactivity and you can attach advanced behaviors to them.
All components in the palette are built for interactivity, although they feature a simple wireframe design. It’s easy to add interactivity to the components with a unified and code-free interface.
The drag’n'drop capability of the component palette lets you quickly put up together simple to complex wireframes. Components are grouped by type and you can also quickly search for them with a single keyboard shortcut. Just press / on your keyboard and start typing.
Multi pages project with sitemap support
FlairBuilder wireframe projects are constructed of multiple pages, nicely organized in a sitemap structure. You can freely move pages around and reorganize the project structure as you like. Just drag’n'drop the page to the new position.
Creating new pages is breeze, just as it is to duplicate an existing one. Each page supports a number of settings for more control from you. For instance, you can specify a CSS grid to be displayed in the background of the page while designing. This helps to layout better wireframes.
With a single click you can specify the page that’ll be displayed by default when opening the wireframe in the free viewer, or in the exported PDF.
The same structure that you create in the Pages view will be replicated in the sitemap view.
Master pages and custom components
Master pages are a great way to minimize the time spent on wireframing a website. It helps to avoid duplication of content over several pages.
Common elements such as a logo, navigation, can go on a master page. Pages that have that master will then automatically display the common content. Such a time saver!
Custom components offer you even more freedom. You can place the same content on more than one page, in different locations. Updating one component will modify all existing instances across the project. For instance, you can have a footer component which will mostly be displayed in different position on different pages.
Site Maps
The site map tool offers you a high-level overview of the project structure. It’s easy to organize your page projects with drag’n'drop so they mimic the website logic hierarchy.
Your team also has access to the sitemap in the online viewer. They can view the sitemap and with a single click go to a specific page in the project.
Of course, you can exclude certain pages, such as masters, from showing up in the sitemap.
Annotations and comments
FlairBuilder lets you annotate your wireframes with additional comments to help your team or client better understand your design intentions.
